THE REGATTA

There was Sunday evening when I with my home mate friend went to "Pantai Mutiara" (translate to "Pearl Coast" in English), an elite residence at North coast of Jakarta. It has beautiful coastal view, waterfront living and cozy residence where some rich man of the city live and have a great life. Pantai mutiara has own canal along its area where many resident's boats are docked.

Inside this exclusive residence, there is also an apartment complex called "The Regatta". Developed by Dharma Intiland Company, this elite apartment complex occupy 11 hectare of land, with 10 towers and 3.500 billion Rupiahs of investment (1 US$ approx 9.000 Rupiahs). This complex is consist of exclusive hotel, aqua park and full-serviced apartment.

The Regatta is designed by Tom Wright, director of Design and Engineering Solution from WS Atkins Consultant which is also 'Burj al Arab' Dubai designer. The waterfront environment translated to boat architecture design with opened sail shape and "mercusuar" (light house) shape tower. Built in three phase which first phase will have done in this 2008. Until yesterday sunday evening when i came, you can only see the first-almost-ready two towers.

Wanna buy one? It's cost "only" 2.6 billion - 8.3 billion vary for 206 m2 - 450m2 (penthouse) apartment.
